From the Winemaker:
My lone Pinot Noir for the vintage is a lucky one, from Eden Rift Vineyard in Cienega Valley. I early picked a clonal mix of Calera, 115, and 777 and fermented the three lots separately (and swiftly) by way of wild yeasts. Only the free run was gravity drained into older French oak barrels for a speedy élevage. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally, and in January I did a New Moon racking to get the wine off the lees in anticipation of the springtime bottling.
Unfiltered.
Alcohol 13%.
14 barrels produced.
