Vineyard Notes
The 2019 growing season started with high volumes of rain over winter and spring, with vine prunings finishing up in February because of the wet weather. This led to a staggered bud break from early March with the Hillside Reserve Chardonnay and finishing with Creekside Pinot Noir in early April. 2019 marked a cool and foggy growing season with good lignification from the long growing season, leading to rich full expressions of each varietal.
Winemaker Notes

Other Notes
Wine Enthusiast Review - This bottling is always one of the most exciting of the year, at least for those who crave the savory, umami-soaked potential of cool-climate Syrah. Aromas of cracked pepper, charred lamb, nori wrap, hollow mud pit, pine needle and exploded asphalt lead into a palate that signals acidity. Similar flavors of charred lamb and pepper meet with rosemary and crumbled herbs. -MATT KETTMANN
