A perfectly classic expression of the grape from our estate vineyard in the cool Sta. Rita Hills. The pure nose of ripe cherry and dried strawberry is followed by Asian spice and sweet smoke notes and a suggestion of truffles, that showcases the purity Santa Rita Hills are known for. The palate is driven by red fruit and spice flavors supported by great acidity and fine tannins. This layered and supple Pinot finishes with fruit and spice notes that carry on for a long finish.
This Pinot Noir aged in 100% French oak, 33% new, for 18 months.
