Winery Tasting Note: The 2020 Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a blend of equal parts of the La Rinconada Vineyard, Sanford & Benedict, and La Encantada Vineyards. These three vineyards are uniquely located on the cool western edge of this appellation. La Rinconada and Sanford & Benedict Vineyards enjoys a touch more afternoon warmth in clay and alluvium based soils, while the La Encatada Vineyard sitting above the other two on hard clay and oceanic rock.
