Winery Tasting Notes:

The 2022 Santa Barbara Cuvée is primarily from the Rancho Ontiveros Vineyard is Santa Maria. Making this classic Pinot Noir a 65% Santa Maria Valley, 25% Los Alamos, and 10% Sta. Rita Hills blend. All components meld together into a nice fruit-forward yet savory and earthy wine, with 15% whole cluster fermentation, which also adds complexity and tannin. The earth and dark cherry notes, of course, come from Santa Maria Valley’s deep soils.
