From The Winery
Winemaking: Picked at 23.7 Brix, Pinot Noir clones 667 and 777 were co-fermented using native yeasts and 30 percent whole cluster stem inclusion. Aged 18 months in 30 percent new French oak barrels. No fining, no filtering, minimal use of sulfur.
Tasting Notes: There are few more coveted sites than Fiddlestix vineyard in the legendary Sta. Rita Hills. This fruit has expressed itself with gentle black cherry, blackberry and terra cotta notes. On the palate is a rich but silky texture with a hint of a mineral finish.
