
From The Winery:
This Mourvedre is sourced from Larner Vineyard in Ballard Canyon, Zaca Mesa Vineyard in Los Olivos and Camp 4 Vineyard in Santa Ynez. Each growing location adds something unique to the blend, adding structure, fruit and complexity along the way.
Following harvest, each 100% whole cluster was foot stomped, fermented with their stems, pressed and then aged separately for 34 months in older French oak barrels, left unracked until blending just before bottling.
This blend offers the perfect balance of fruit and 'earth', of lively acidity but noticeable tannin structure, and of pure enjoyment!
